Newly renovated guest house with high standards on estate on Swedish west coast about 100 km north of Gothenburg and 200 km south of Oslo. The house is an independent unit with all amenities: two bedrooms, kitchen, living/dining, bath, laundry room, entrance hall with storage space, private patio and secure parking. Gay guests have access to garden/park of main house, where sun tanning (also in the nude) is possible. It is possible to agree with host on use of relax area of main house with sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, etc.
There are many very nice places for swimming in the fjords and the open sea. Some are within bicycle distance (bicycles can be borrowed) others are reached with a short car drive. Forest and rocks start directly behind the house and are good for shorter or longer walks. Persons with documented experience can eventually rent horses on the farm. Help with grooming the horses is always welcome! At least five golf courses can easily be reached for day visits.
The world famous rack carvings, mainly from the Bronze Age, are found in an area streching from a few minutes by car (the second most important site in Sweden) to the UNESCO World Heritage site about half an hour away. Other places of interest are museums, galleries, "Havets Hus" (the House of the Sea) in Lysekil town, "Nordens Ark" ( the Nordic Ark) with rare animals at the Åby fjord, etc.
Nearest place with organized gay night life is Gothenburg, about one hour by car and slightly more by bus. As in other countryside locations most local gay contacts are via Internet.
Bus stop for busses to Gothenburg, Uddevalla, Lysekil town, Smögen etc. is two minutes by foot from front door.
